  • for Donald and Sharon Driskill who’ve joined this local Body of Christ
  • for Janet Burkhart and Hannah Dunn who have publicly proclaimed Jesus as Savior
  • Dylan Staples - for God’s call upon his life into ministry
  • for Brayden Welch’s rededication to Christ

 

FOR GENERATIONS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: Uniting Building, Reaching

  • for leadership team members to seeks God’s direction as they make decisions
  • for the release of God’s power; that the enemy’s discouragements & roadblocks will evaporate
  • that the leadership team will do everything according to the will of God
  • that all of us to ask the Lord, “Lord, what do You want to do through me to accomplish Your will for Your church?”

 

PRAY FOR FBC GLEN ROSE STAFF/VOLUNTEERS

  • Pastor Rick – renewed spiritual strength and continued discernment of God’s voice in leadership
  • Bible study and Sunday School teachers – a renewed sense of purpose and excitement about the privilege to teach God’s Word; that their lesson preparation time would be a priority every week

 

PRAY FOR FBC GLEN ROSE MINISTRIES

  • FBC Glen Rose Library – for more members and attenders to visit Sunday mornings, Tuesdays 3-5 p.m., Wednesdays 5:30-7:15 p.m., Thursdays 9:30-11 a.m.
  • Student Ministry - for a High School intern to help with students this summer
  • Serbia Mission Trip (6/18-6/29) – for travel preparation; for all team participants to be used by God in powerful ways as they share the Gospel of Christ with everyone
  • Hungary Bible English Camp (6/20-6/29) – for the preparation to teach English at a Hungarian public school and for the Gospel to be shared with many Hungarians
  • Children’s Ministry – for volunteers to fill teaching positions for K-5th grade (BLAST ‘25); for many 1st-5th graders to register for this summer’s Camp Copass; for all administrative needs to be met
  • Women’s Spring Luncheon (Saturday, 5 April) – that many guests would attend; for the Gospel to be clearly shared; for a time of Christ-centered fellowship
  • Men’s Ministry – for more men to faithfully attend men’s Bible studies on Wednesday evenings

 

PRAY FOR GLEN ROSE

  • Election Day Saturday, 3 May - for Joe Boles to continues as Mayor; that God would choose godly, qualified people for the 2 open City Council seats; for all dissention to disappear
  • Dr. Trig Overbo – God’s discernment and wisdom; full unity of support; provision for all schools
  • for all school teachers to stay strong during the tiring spring months and students to stay focused
  • for health over our community and church re: flu, Covid, RSV, allergies

 

PRAY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS

  • in hostile nations with extreme danger: Congo, Sudan and India (due to Hindu RSS)

 

PRAY FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

  • Celia Shackleford – for her relief from abdomen fluid build-up and tremors (due to cancer) and wisdom for her physicians
  • for _________________________ who needs a relationship/deeper walk with Jesus
  • Cal Linde - complete healing from cervical surgery and sternum fracture; peace and rest while remaining at home for 2 months
  • Carlene Carter – effective treatment for her brother-in-law, Billy (stage 4 cancer)
  • Sharon Sundby – complete healing for their son-in-law’s mother (hip surgery)
  • Pat Walsh – complete healing for her daughter’s friend who had spine surgery
  • Sherry Simms – for her cousin who’s hospitalized with pneumonia and sepsis
  • peace and comfort for Johnnie Beaudin as she mourns Tom’s passing; for healing for her niece (high blood pressure)
  • for the unbelieving, prodigals and the distracted who need a relationship with Jesus
  • Kevin Keller – for a clear CT scan and effective surgery for his mother, Sharon, who was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her colon
  • for everyone struggling with family members who suffer with mental distress or dementia
  • Zane McVey – complete healing for his twin sister, Patsy
  • Martha Prasifka – healing for her brother-in-law (brain bleed) and peace for his family; for an effective vascular procedure scheduled 20 March to combat effects from a brown recluse spider bite
  • Libby Agnew (stage 4 pancreatic cancer) – placed on hospice
  • Kara Bounds, Judy Mullins, Monica Perry, Tammy Ray – effective chemotherapy treatments and complete healing from cancer; pain relief
  • George Dustin – complete healing from stage 4 cancer
  • Kenneth Miller – for complete healing from illness
  • Ashley Sanders – complete healing from surgery (on imposed bedrest)
